Syme Drummond are delighted to be working exclusively with Blackadders LLP as they look to hire a dedicated Senior People and Culture Advisor to join a leading Scottish legal firm.

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to take ownership of a varied HR generalist role within a supportive team, with the added opportunity to work on various projects making a real impact on the business.

This role can be based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow and comes with a competitive salary plus hybrid working or around 2-3 days in the office, with the rest at home.

Reporting into a supportive Head of HR, with the scope to run with projects and bring new ideas to the table, the successful individual will come with a qualification in HR and have a solid understanding of UK employment legislation, have a strong interpersonal skillset and ,the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

This role offers a great opportunity to make an impact on the continued success of the business.

The responsibilities can include:

Partnering with Head of HR to implement the strategic People and Culture agenda.
Developing and implementing policies and procedures
Ensuring Payroll data is correct and submitted on time.
Build stakeholder relationships.
Providing guidance on employee relations matters
Managing end to end processes and coaching and influencing managers.
