More About Katie:

Katie has been a professional in the recruitment industry for over twenty years. Having worked for global, national and independent agencies, Katie has built up a wealth of experience across a variety of specialist markets recruiting from administrative to executive level appointments for a wide range of industries. Graduating from Glasgow University and having studied HRM as part of her Master's degree in Marketing, she decided from an early point in her recruitment career that she wanted to specialise in the Human Resources and L&D market. Whilst working for a global consultancy, she decided to pursue her CIPD to give her a better insight into her specialist market and to broaden her knowledge of the subject.

Throughout her career, Katie has built successful relationships across a wide network of professionals which has earned her a leading reputation within the industry attracting a loyal customer base. She is delighted to have established Syme Drummond in 2010 which allowed her the scope and freedom to build on the successful partnerships already made with existing customers and to welcome new partnerships for the future.

Katie is responsible for the Exec HR Market and mainly works on a retained or exclusive basis.

Katie loves spending her spare time with her family and friends, so at the weekend she can be found with her husband walking her dogs, chasing after her 2 young sons usually with a football or meeting friends with a pinot grigio putting the world to rights!

More About Kelsie:

With in depth recruitment experience, Kelsie showcases an impressive mix of both in house recruitment as well as direct sourcing experience.

As a Senior Sourcer for UK & Ireland at Royal London, Kelsie excelled as a specialist recruiter, working with professionals ranging from junior to director-level. Before her in-house position, Kelsie worked as a volume recruiter in the financial services sector.

Kelsie is very much a people person – relationship building and management both with internal and external stakeholders is one of her many strengths!

Outside of work, Kelsie loves binging the Real Housewives, and Friends (over and over and can quote every episode!). She also has a French Bulldog – Bubba who is her only "child" who she loves to spoil. At weekends you'll find her socialising with friends and family with a cocktail in hand, and planning their next concert or city break away!

More About Megan:

Megan is the glue that holds us all together! If you engage with Syme Drummond then at some point you will speak to Megan. Megan is responsible for looking after our customers from that first point of contact. She is also the person that provides all our administrative support, she places all our adverts and basically keeps both our internal and external stakeholders up to speed on what is happening. We call her Miss Marple as there is nothing that Megan can't find out - she is a brilliant member of the team and we couldn't be without her!  

Megan spends most of her free time with her young daughter and her partner (along with their 2 cats). Megan also really loves thriller and detective TV shows, like Criminal Minds and will rewatch them over and over again without getting bored. Comfort is key for Megan (especially her Crocs and her Oodie)
