Syme Drummond has a team of specialist HR recruiters and is headed up by Katie Drummond who has been a professional in the recruitment industry for over twenty years. Having worked for global, national and independent agencies, Katie has built up a wealth of experience across a variety of specialist markets recruiting from administrative to executive level appointments for a wide range of industries. Graduating from Glasgow University and having studied HRM as part of her Master's degree in Marketing, she decided from an early point in her recruitment career that she wanted to specialise in the Human Resources and L&D market. Whilst working for a global consultancy, she decided to pursue her CIPD to give her a better insight into her specialist market and to broaden her knowledge of the subject.
Throughout her career, Katie has built successful relationships across a wide network of professionals which has earned her a leading reputation within the industry attracting a loyal customer base. She is delighted to have established Syme Drummond in 2010 which allowed her the scope and freedom to build on the successful partnerships already made with existing customers and to welcome new partnerships for the future.
