Senior HR Advisor | Turnkey
East Kilbride (3 days onsite)

This is not your typical HR Advisory role.
I’m delighted to be supporting Turnkey, a growing, private equity-backed tech business based in East Kilbride, who are scaling quickly and investing heavily in their people function.
They need someone who can get stuck in, build relationships, and elevate HR - not sit back behind a desk and follow policy.
You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team, working closely with a Head of HR who genuinely values the impact HR can have in a business. She’s passionate about HR being visible, adding real value, and not sitting on the sidelines - it’s about promoting what good looks like, driving engagement, and being part of the business.
There’s plenty of hard work, but a strong belief that if you can’t have a bit of fun in HR, you’re doing it wrong!
About you:
- A true generalist - with solid experience across the full employee lifecycle (ER, recruitment, L&D, onboarding, performance, culture, etc.)
- Ideally from an SME, PE-backed or scale-up environment (or similar pace and complexity)
- Confident coaching, mentoring and delivering training to managers
- Comfortable with challenging the status quo and bringing your own ideas
- Able to work autonomously - not waiting to be told what to do
- Someone who keeps an ear close to the ground, builds strong relationships and follows through to make things stick
- Naturally curious, proactive, and brings great energy
About the role:
- Partnering closely with managers (many from technical backgrounds)
- Managing the full generalist remit within a small, close-knit HR team
- Driving consistency across people processes
- Delivering practical, engaging sessions (not death-by-PowerPoint!)
- Supporting projects and improvements across HR systems, L&D and engagement
- Helping shape what “good HR” looks like in a scaling business
