We're delighted to be supporting a well-established, values-led organisation in the appointment of a People Operations Consultant to join their People & Culture team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, partnering with managers and making a genuine impact across an organisation.
Working as part of a collaborative People team, you'll act as a trusted partner to managers across a variety of services, supporting the full employee lifecycle whilst helping to build manager capability, improve ways of working and drive positive change.
This is a broad generalist role offering a mix of business partnering, coaching, employee relations, project management and continuous improvement activity.
The Opportunity
You'll work closely with operational leaders and managers, taking time to understand their challenges, identify opportunities for improvement and provide practical, commercially-minded people solutions.
Key areas of responsibility include:

Partnering with managers across the organisation, providing practical HR support and guidance

Coaching and developing manager capability across a range of people management topics

Supporting the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to employee relations matters

Leading and contributing to People projects and service improvement initiatives

Identifying opportunities to improve processes, practices and employee experience

Building strong stakeholder relationships and developing a deep understanding of service needs

Supporting managers through absence management, performance and employee relations matters

Collaborating with the wider People & Culture team to deliver organisational objectives
About You
We're keen to speak with experienced HR professionals who are confident operating autonomously and enjoy taking ownership of their work.
You'll ideally bring:

Strong generalist HR experience across the employee lifecycle

Experience partnering with and influencing managers
-
Confidence managing employee relations matters and providing practical advice

Strong project management or change experience

Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
-
Commercial awareness and the ability to understand operational challenges

A proactive, solutions-focused approach
-
The confidence to work independently and identify opportunities for improvement
