HR Business Partner

We’re supporting a large, complex organisation to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner to support a significant programme of organisational change. 

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll partner closely with senior stakeholders to deliver complex transformation activity, with a strong focus on consultation, restructuring and organisational change. 

We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, bringing both credibility and confidence when operating at a senior level. 

The role 

You’ll work in a true business partnering capacity, supporting senior leaders to deliver people-focused change across multiple areas of the organisation. 

Key areas of focus will include: 

  • Leading and supporting large-scale organisational change programmes 

  • Managing collective consultations, restructures and redundancy processes 

  • Providing expert advice on complex employee relations matters 

  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver people strategy aligned to business objectives 

  • Working closely with Trade Unions, building strong and effective relationships 

  • Ensuring all activity is delivered in line with employment legislation and best practice 

  • Using data and insight to support decision-making and mitigate risk 

  • Supporting the development of management capability through coaching and guidance 

About you 

This role requires an experienced HR professional who is confident operating at pace and navigating complexity. 

You’ll bring: 

  • Proven experience operating as an HR Business Partner within change and transformation environments 

  • Strong experience managing collective consultations, restructures and redundancies 

  • Up-to-date, in-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation 

  • Experience working with Trade Unions and industrial relations 

  • The ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders 

  • A calm, pragmatic approach when managing complex and sensitive situations 

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills 

  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
