Syme Drummond are looking for an experienced and committed HR Advisor to join the team of a new customer of ours based in the city centre of Edinburgh. Offering a hybrid working pattern within a lovely office where you will be set up for success from day 1.

The responsibilities that come with this role include delivering an efficient, timely, and accurate generalist HR service, such as recruitment, learning & development, and employee relations. You'll also be responsible for overseeing the HR audit process to ensure annual audits are completed on employee files, references, contracts, and more.

You should meet the following criteria:

  • Fully qualified to HND level or equivalent
  • Hold or be working towards a CIPD qualification
  • Experienced HR professional operating at HR Assistant, Senior HR Assistant or HR Officer looking to take the step up to Advisor level
  • Can demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills across all levels from Board level to employee
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to deal with difficult and changing priorities.
  • Up to date with current and future employment legislation and best practice
