Syme Drummond are seeking an enthusiastic HR Admin Assistant!
 
We are on the lookout for an HR Admin Assistant to join our well-known Glasgow-based customer on their journey to success.
 
This opportunity is Hybrid, however for the first month you will be required in the office full-time for training, after that, you will move to at least 2 days a week in the office.
 
The main responsibilities of this role include processing family-friendly requests (e.g. maternity, paternity, and flexible working), as well as administering and supporting casework teams, managing the casework mailbox, and taking confidential notes at hearings and panels.
 
You will have:
  • Strong attention to detail for documentation and note-taking.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, manage tasks independently, and determine appropriate escalation without direct supervision.
  • Minimum qualification of HND or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Ability to be proactive and think on your feet.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS packages, online communication platforms (e.g. Teams or Zoom), and use of databases.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR responsibilities
