HR Generalist Opportunity – 9-Month Contract

Hybrid – 2 days on site / 3 from home

Are you an  experienced HR professional who enjoys stepping into a business, getting quickly up to speed and making a visible impact?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking manufacturing organisation during a focused period of HR change. The role is offered as a 9-month fixed-term contract, with flexibility around structure for the right individual, making it well suited to those who enjoy project-led, delivery-focused work.

Working closely with a highly experienced Head of HR, you will play a key role in a significant HR refresh. This includes modernising processes, updating policies and bringing structure, pace and consistency to a people-first environment. You will partner closely with R&D and engineering teams across recruitment, onboarding, engagement, policy design and process improvement.

This role will suit someone who spots what needs done, gets on with it and enjoys bringing clarity and momentum. You’ll have the autonomy to take ownership, alongside the warmth and judgement to thrive in a genuinely collaborative and supportive team.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven HR generalist experience in a fast-paced environment (manufacturing, FMCG, retail or similar)
  • Confidence delivering change and managing projects end to end
  • Ability to build trust quickly and operate with pace and pragmatism
  • A self-starter with sound judgement, energy and a sense of humour
