Data Processor
4–6 Month FTC
Predominantly remote working
Greater Glasgow
We’re looking for 4 detail-driven Data Processors to support a high-impact HR project focused on maritime crew certification. This fixed-term role (4–6 months) is ideal for someone with an eagle eye for accuracy, a love for structured processes, and a knack for spotting inconsistencies, and offers the chance to contribute to a key HR systems implementation.
This is more than just data entry; it’s about safeguarding the accuracy and integrity of essential crew training and compliance records. Whether you have experience in HR administration, document control, or training coordination, or you're a recent HR graduate with a keen eye for process, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a live HR transformation project.
What you’ll be doing:
- Upload and verify thousands of maritime training and compliance records into a new HR system (iTrent)
- Cross-check documentation for accuracy, expiry, duplication, and completeness
- Reference each crew member’s certifications against role requirements and training matrices
- Work closely with the HR and training teams to flag any compliance risks or data gaps
- Ensure structured, logical organisation of digital personnel files by crew member and rank
You’ll need to be:
- Meticulous with data and confident working with HR systems and Excel
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing your own time
- A fast learner who thrives on process, detail, and accuracy
- Calm under pressure and consistent when dealing with high-volume workloads
- Able to handle sensitive data with care and discretion
Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Exposure to HR administration, training records, or compliance documentation
- Experience with document management or HRIS platforms (e.g., iTrent, SAP, Workday)
- A structured, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with certificate tracking or regulated compliance environments
Maritime industry experience is a bonus, but not essential – curiosity, accuracy, and a can-do attitude are what count!
