Syme Drummond are representing a fast-growing hospitality group with some of Scotland’s most exciting restaurants and boutique hotels. With new venues in development, our customer is looking for a hands-on, commercially driven Area Manager to help shape the next stage of growth.

The role

• Lead and manage a team of General Managers across multiple restaurants and boutique hotels.
• Take accountability for commercial performance (P&L, budgets, costs) and drive profitability.
• Ensure consistency in service, brand standards, and compliance across all sites.
• Coach, develop, and hold General Managers accountable, building strong, engaged leadership teams.
• Contribute to wider business strategy and expansion initiatives.

What we’re looking for

• Proven multi-site management experience in hospitality (hotels, restaurants, pubs, or leisure).
• Strong commercial acumen with P&L ownership.
• A leadership style that inspires, supports, and holds managers accountable.
• Flexibility to travel across Central Scotland (Glasgow, Edinburgh, wider region).
