Syme Drummond are delighted to be partnering with a key player in the global manufacturing industry to recruit a Reward Specialist on a permanent basis. This role can be based in Chryston, working on a hybrid basis or fully remote. In this role you will ensure the compensation and reward areas are cost effective and fit for purpose by providing accurate and timely data for making business decisions within HR Business Services.  This role will be 70% day-to-day reward responsibilities and 30% building and implementing the direction of the reward process.  

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who wants to help create the rules and processes, not follow them.  You will have the ability to use improvement tools and techniques to understand where savings and improvements can be made to reward processes.  You will have demonstrable experience in reviewing reward data, group salaries and salary reviews and be able to implement a group reward plan including performance based pay, bonus, benefits etc.  Sound technical ability to understand reward data and processes with the ability to translate the information for key stakeholders is a necessity for this role.
