Syme Drummond was established in 2010 and we are proud that we work differently to many other recruitment consultancies. We are not a 360 recruitment consultancy. We recognise the skills involved in each of the steps of a successful recruitment journey. At Syme Drummond, there are no clients and candidates. Our philosophy has always been that every person is a valued customer with an individual need. We have a strong team in the business who place our customers at the heart of everything we do. Year on year we have grown and this year is no different. We now need a graduate calibre recruitment ninja to compliment our team as we continue to grow!

What does Recruitment Ninja mean to us?

  • Tech savvy – you LOVE all things technical. You are for want of a better phrase a bit of a tech geek. You instinctively know how to use a multitude of talent platforms and are a master at Boolean search techniques in order to get to the right talent fast! You embrace social media and recognise the importance of this from a business growth and visibility perspective
  • You have strong attention to detail – you can listen, take instruction and act on it and are super efficient in your responses
  • You can work at a very fast, agile pace and take multi tasking and prioritising to a whole new level – you are always one step ahead 
  • You are a quick learner – what you don’t know you will proactively seek the answer to but you are not afraid to ask for help when you need it
  • You are a creative problem solver – trust us when we say our niche is attracting and engaging with hard to find talent so whilst we use mainstream advertising platforms, we are proud that the majority of our database has come via referral and recommendation and pro active headhunting
  • You place integrity above all else, you do the right thing by our customers always.


This role is a brand new role within the business. This role is all about attracting HR talent so key to this role will be your ability to navigate sites such as Linked In, (experience of using Sales Navigator or Linked In Recruiter would be preferred) Facebook, Instagram, Twitter so that you can ‘hang out’ with these avatar groups and build relationships to bring them on our journey.
