Are you a dynamic HR professional who has built their experience within SME businesses? Do you think commercially and enjoy partnering business leaders to provide a value added HR service? 

This role will offer you the opportunity to work with an entrepreneurial, growing SME business where people are at the heart of their success. You will work closely with the COO and their senior leadership team across all areas of HR. Based at their Greenock location , this role will also allow you the flexibility to work remotely 50% of your time following your initial onboarding period.

We are looking for an applicant who is able to embody the company’s vision, values and goals in the team dynamics and core processes within the company and who has an extensive expertise in building collaborative teams, strategy planning as well as inspiring and building a superbly balanced internal company dynamic

Your CV will demonstrate the following:

  • Providing advice to senior management, line managers and all employees
  • Proactively supporting the management team on all aspects of conduct, performance and capability issues by ensuring an understanding of associated policies and procedures
  • All aspects of HR admin, including contracts, inductions, change of details, absence recording and assisting with recruitment across the organisation
  • Dealing with all aspects of employee relations across the company
  • Carrying out all the relevant HR processes and development plans
  • Managing sickness absence and performance management
  • Managing health & safety, staff engagement and wellbeing within the company
  • Apply HR and business knowledge with appropriate decision-making skills
  • General administration within the HR department, such as managing and updating company policies where required
  • Contribute to other HR initiatives and projects.
