Syme Drummond is partnering with this UK energy organisation based in Motherwell as they seek to appoint a Part Time HR Advisor. Reporting into an HR Manager and being part of a small and highly valued HR team, this role will be the site HR contact and therefore you will enjoy working autonomously and will be used to working in a stand alone role. This is a true HR generalist role and you will be responsible for a full and varied HR remit. The role would be an onsite role with the opportunity to work one day from home. You will work closely with line managers, senior stakeholders and employees and will be responsible for providing a comprehensive HR Advisory service.

Your CV will demonstrate experience of the following:

  • Operating as a true HR generalist at Officer or Advisor level
  • Experience of dealing with ER cases including disciplinaries, grievance and absence
  • Recruitment experience
  • Performance Managemant
  • Change Management
  • Project management experience

Ideally you will have had experience of working with shift workers although this is not essential. Key to this role will not only be your HR generalist experience but your ability to work well with the wider team and to build successful relationships with employees and stakeholders. This is a role that will provide a super opportunity for an ambitious HR Officer/Advisor to really take ownership of a highly successful site and to lead on key HR projects.
