OD Advisor - West Coast

Syme Drummond is partnering this city centre based customer as they source for an Organisation Development Advisor. This role will join part of a highly visible HR team and a large part of this role initially will centre around Career Pathways. In addition to this you will ideally be working within the specialist area of OD or perhaps you are working as an HR generalist but have key strengths in the area of Organisation Development. 

Key responsibilities are:

  • Develop, implement and evaluate a range of in-house development programmes to build capability and enhance performance
  • Contribute to the design, implementation and evaluation of leadership development programmes, building capability across all leadership levels
  • Support the development, communication and embedding of the leadership framework, to create a common understanding and approach of great leadership behaviours
  • Facilitate talent mapping and succession planning activities with business stakeholders, in collaboration with the wider People team
  • Work with colleagues in the OD and wider People team to identify and implement programmes to support the development of  internal talent pipeline
  • Analyse outputs from the performance management and development planning process to design interventions that address skills gaps and enhance organisational performance
  • Build effective stakeholder relationships to understand key objectives and identify programmes to address needs
  • Network and collaborate with colleagues  to promote shared learning, best practice and partnership working
  • Provide effective coaching and support to embed learning from OD interventions
  • Coach, challenge and advise stakeholders
  • Directly or with relevant colleagues, provide Organisation Development support and education to managers and HR
