Syme Drummond are delighted to be assisting our superb customer based in the Cental Belt to source a Learning & Development Coordinator
 
Supporting the L&D Manager, you will coordinate and support learning and development, administration and the coordination of internal / external L&D and liaise with internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
You will ensure that  a high-quality service is provided to internal and external stakeholders and at all times and promote L&D initiatives across all areas of the organisation, (i.e. care, education and support services)  This interesting and varied role will offer you the opportunity to get involved in a range of activities across L&D;  utilising  project skills, IT systems and media. You will be working within an organisation that focuses on the promotion of a positive  learning and has a upskilling culture. This role is subject to successful entry into the PVG scheme.
 
To apply for this role you will have the following proven skills and experience:
  • Relevant professional L&D qualification / CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent professional experience in an L&D environement
  • Proven experience of working as an L&D Co ordinator or equivalent level
  • Experience of coordinating and facilitating the delivery of a wide range of L&D activities across the employee lifecycle, including activities  in relation to employee induction
  • Experience of creating training materials and delivering training internally and externally
  • Experience of auditing and evaluating L&D activity, as well as suggesting and implementing improvements and changes to address skills gaps.
  • Experience of using, creating content for and maintaining people and learning-related IT/ Learning Management Systems(preferably, but not necessarily, Adobe, BreatheHR, Canva and LearnPro ,etc.). In this role you will be the "go to" person for LearnPro.
  • Demonstrable experience of providing a high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders on a range of L&D initiatives.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a track record of managing competing priorities and a challenging workload, within a busy working environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral ,with attention to detail, including proof-reading.
  • Possessing good interpersonal skills i.e .the ability to foster effective working relationships.
  • Experience of contributing to, and taking a lead role on, development projects related to L&D
