Lead Consultant – Organisational Development - East Coast

Syme Drummond is working exclusively with this iconic Scottish charity as they seek to hire an experienced Organisational Development Consultant. Based at their Head Office in Edinburgh, this role offers a hybrid working model with 2 days on site. They will also offer condensed hours over 4 days. For this role I am looking to engage with HR professionals who have significant HR project experience within the areas of change management and OD. Ideally you will have gained your experience within a multi-site complex organisation, focused on a diverse range of organisational development / organisational effectiveness activities. You must be able to demonstrate your experience of supporting leaders through complex change and organisational development processes and leading others (including project teams) and influencing across organisational boundaries and at a senior level. You will have be experienced in managing complex projects or programmes of work with significant scale and impact.and will be confident using people data (such as workforce survey or workforce planning data) to provide analysis and insight to senior leaders and developing action plans on the back of this.

You will be able to step up and operate at a strategic level and will enjoy enabling (and challenging) senior leaders. With demonstrable practitioner experience of developing a wide range of organisational development support products (scripts, online learning modules, surveys, focus groups etc.), you will be a highly proficient user of IT in general: word-processing, spreadsheets, presentations etc. This role will be working in a highly visible and valued team and therefore you will demonstrate confidence and ‘presence’ to be a highly-visible and highly-effective team member within the HR function and across the organisation. Ideally you will hold a Post-graduate qualification in business management (e.g. MBA) or HR / organisational development qualifications, or equivalent experience in a People consultancy environment.
