FTC 12mth FTC Advisor - Edinburgh and Mid Lothians - East Coast

Syme Drummond is excited to be partnering this leading road maintenance and management firm as they seek to appoint a credible and confident HR Advisor. This role will report into the HR Manager and will work alongside a small HR team supporting their South East of Scotland unit. Whilst COVID restrictions are in place, the role will be remote based however once restrictions ease, it would be expected that the role holder would travel to the various sites within their business unit so applicants who are able to commute to Edinburgh and Mid Lothian areas is essential. 

This role will be a full on HR generalist role where no 2 days are the same. You will be working closely with your business unit and be responsible for building relationships with a complex stakeholder group. You must be a confident HR professional who is used to meeting your stakeholders on a regular basis and supporting them across a full HR generalist remit. Key strengths in Employee Relations and Recruitment would be preferred. Ideally you will have worked in a unionised environment. This organisation is very stable and therefore applicants can apply knowing this will be a secure FTC 12 month contract with the possibility of being extended or made permanent. This is a super role for someone at Senior HR Officer or HR Officer/Advisor level who wants to broaden their HR generalist experience in a hands on, operational HR role within a super team.
