Finance Assistant with an eye for detail, and a drive to develop and grow?
Looking for a truly collaborative and flexible opportunity with an organisation that makes a real difference?

Our customer, a global language services provider, is seeking a dynamic Finance Assistant to join their mission-driven team in Glasgow.
This is a hybrid role with great flexibility on in-office days, offering the perfect balance for your work-life harmony whilst also offering fantastic career development prospects.

About the role
As the Finance Assistant, you will manage accounts payables, maintain supplier records, process high volumes of invoices, and resolve supplier queries via email and phone. You will handle payment allocations and runs, authorise and process staff expenses, and perform credit card and bank reconciliations. Additionally, you will assist with credit control and receivables, monitor finance mailboxes, and follow up on queries.

About you
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate solid skills in finance gained from a prior similar role, be proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skills, and have bookkeeping experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as being highly organised, reliable, and efficient. You should be self-motivated, good at multitasking, and detail oriented. Flexibility with growth opportunities is important, and experience with multi-currency transactions is a plus, though training will be provided.

With a "can do" attitude and a collaborative spirit, you'll thrive in this small but dynamic team. Your eagerness to learn and grow will be valued, and your impact will be felt across the organisation.
We are seeking a Finance Assistant who is eligible to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship cannot be provided at the moment. Due to the volume of expected applications, only selected applicants will be contacted.

If you're ready to embrace a new challenge and grow within a supportive environment, this is the opportunity for you.
